Round 7 (22-JUN-2026 to 23-JUN-2026)

It’s the beginning of Spring and JJ couldn’t be happier; he can pick up with his garden again! Gardening truly is a joy, isn’t it?
Right before his shift he makes sure all of those little seeds are planted. 

When Maeve comes home from school, both of her dads are out and that is the perfect opportunity to head out to the arcade again! She wants to go buy a handheld game, but soon enough her attention is with all the fun people that hang out there.
She gossips a little with Stelise while Fleming and Linus Eddington express their dislike for each other.

 

Apparently they both think they have a thing with Stelise, and of course that does not go over well when they find out about each other's relationship with the girl. …Let’s hope that they didn’t hurt each other too badly. 

Back at home, Caspian brings his coworker Hercin Okamishin. The rookie seems highly impressed with Caspian’s stories.
Niall gets back from school and is too busy to even think about homework… playing SSX is far more important! 

Later, Caspian stops for a moment to hold baby Oliver. Things could have ended up very differently, and he appreciates the time he can spend with his children now. 

When JJ returns home, he receives a promotion and he is now a Deep Sea Excavator. The job comes with a cool new outfit. 

The next day seems ordinary. Everyone goes to work and school, and the nanny takes care of baby Oliver.
However, Caspian makes a mistake by tolerating fraudulent behaviour and he is fired because of it. He tries to pull some strings with his higher-ups but to no avail; his working days are over. A man his age will have a hard time finding a new job, and with his dream of reaching the top of the law enforcement career thwarted, there is no reason for him to pursue something new. 

On the bright side - he gets to spend a lot more time with his children now! 

And not a moment too soon, because Niall gets to blow out the candles today and turn into a teen! 

His pirate outfit days are over. With how his family has been struggling with money because of the constant building and renovating of their house, Niall aims to rake in as much cash as possible as a Fortune Sim. 

After Niall’s birthday Maeve heads out on another date with Kaylana.
It’s very successful and they make a cute couple, though there doesn’t seem to be much serious intent. As long as they are both enjoying their time together, all seems well. 

While big sister is gone, baby Oliver also ages up and becomes a toddler.

Isn't he cute? He seems to take a lot after Caspian.

Saturday is all about relaxing, and that is what Maeve and Evelyn are doing during the day. Evelyn dropped in unannounced, but who is Maeve to complain about that? 

Niall chooses to be more productive and searches the web, looking for a job. He applies for a position at the local law firm and he gets to work there as a file clerk. Perhaps one day he can use this teen job to his benefit.
While Niall is doing that, Caspian teaches Oliver how to talk. Sadly I forgot to take a picture of them practicing together :(. 

The rest of the day is for socializing. Caspian and JJ take some time together and Maeve heads out to the old lumberhouse to hang out with a group of teens. 

Her drinking song of the Palm Tree Gnomes seems to be well received. 

Soon enough, the final day of the round draws closer. In the early morning JJ teaches Oliver how to walk. The little one has maxed all of his toddler skills now!
Caspian takes some time to hone his painting skills now he has some more time and his husband is taking care of the toddler. 

Later, Maeve and Oliver play together, while Niall does a side hustle on the PC to earn money. The last decorations have been added to the exterior of the house, but that has caused the family’s funds to be quite on the low side. 

Maeve tries to help by building robots to earn money, but the first one she creates is immediately broken, which causes some trouble! Luckily she knows well enough how to repair things now to not have it become a complete disaster. 

Sunday’s family dinner seems to be a wholesome affair, until suddenly Caspian starts to feel strange again. 

“Dad, the bug story wasn’t that scary…! Dad?”

Ever since the heart attack Caspian had after the intense special forces operation, his heart hasn’t been the same. The same weakness seems to overtake him and this time… 

…Grim doesn’t seem to be giving Caspian any second chances, despite the sadness the family is displaying. Caspian’s spirit is taken. The founder has officially passed. 

Each of the family members tries to deal with this loss in their own way. 

Maeve goes out with Kaylana to find comfort in her arms, while Niall buries himself in his new job. 

JJ tries to be there for the smallest member of the family. He hoped baby Oliver didn’t have to lose his father so soon, but this time there was nothing he could do about it. 

Our dear Caspian will be missed, but his legacy continues. 

This sad event marks the end of round 7. I was lulled into a false sense of security that Caspian was doing pretty alright, but the elder death mod did strike again and he was gone so soon! I hope JJ will be hanging on a little longer, otherwise the teens are going to be responsible for little Oliver growing up... but we will see!

Round 6 (12-APR-2026 - 13-APR-2026)

 Hi, it’s been a while!

The Robinsdale players have been working hard on growing the town and so it took a while before I was able to get my hands back on it.
There’s a few more community lots and a university hood now, so I’m excited to dive back in! 

It’s the weekend and so the children can do whatever they feel like. While Niall gets to know Quasar Eddington for a bit, Maeve plunders the family bookcase and finds some really weird looking books about computers and robots. She gets so engrossed by it that she spends most of the day improving her mechanical skill with them. 

A little later, JJ asks her to play outside. It’s Maeve’s birthday today and time flies by so quickly… he wants to relish the time his little girl is still a child for now. They have great fun together. 

Soon enough though, it is time for the birthday party. 

Everyone gathers round to celebrate Maeve’s transition into teenhood. 

But not without a wish first (Beau seems terribly shocked)! 

Maeve has aged up and Stelise seems to approve! 

Of course it’s not a Sims party if there’s not a fight and this time, it seems Evelyn and Beau are the culprits. After Evelyn fought with Beau on his own birthday, it seems the two don’t get along anymore. 

The fight is the only mishap at the party though, and the guests leave with the good feeling of witnessing another happy age-up. 

The next day, Maeve wastes no time to head over to the local arcade to meet other teens. She is a Pleasure sim, so it makes sense for her to go out as soon as she is able to.
She meets a girl there, Kaylana Hudson, who she hits it off with. Girls are more interesting to her than boys, it seems. 

They flirt a little, but that’s as far as it goes. Maeve has a good time though (I’m not sure about Emery in the background, that is only slightly terrifying). 

Back at home, Niall befriends Linus Eddington. He seems to get along well with all the Eddington boys.
Caspian works on his body skill and JJ does some housekeeping, wondering why there’s always this strange baby bell noise in their house after Bevruchtenhagel Technicus has been around… 

Monday is a snowday and Niall makes the most of it. He builds himself an evil looking snowman and proceeds to immediately destroy it (I guess that’s grouchy sims for you). 

As soon as JJ gets up he runs straight to the toilet to barf, though he is stopped in his tracks by Caspian relieving himself first.
“Honey, MOVE IT!”

He sincerely hopes that this is the last time. He isn’t going to let an alien near his reproductive system anymore, that’s for sure. 

Maeve takes the opportunity to hang out with Kaylana now they don’t have to go to school. They head over to Simbucks. 

It doesn’t take long for their attraction to become public knowledge. 

Outside in the snow, they share their first kiss. 

“Nice to meet you, miss! Perhaps one day, I can interest you in my services-”
…I am watching you, sir. 

Back at the home lot, Caspian returns from work and feels a strange pain in his back. This can only mean one thing… 

He ages up into an elder!
So far, his life has been good enough, though he still aims to reach the peak of his career. 

JJ and him spend a quiet evening at home. Though he is getting on in age, Caspian is still happy that they’re expecting a third child. 

The next day everyone goes to work and school, while JJ putters around the house pregnant. 

When she gets home, Maeve gets her bot building station and is elated. It was an expensive investment, but she promises her dads she will work on her skills and will try to earn it back. 

Homework gets done by both of the children and the day passes without much excitement. 

The next day the time has come! 

JJ gives birth to baby Oliver. 

Niall comes home from school and proudly shows his report card, his grades keep improving! It won’t be long until he can reach that coveted A+. 

When Caspian returns from work, he doesn’t feel very well after leading his team to victory with a flashbang grenade. 

Despite that, he has been promoted to Police Chief. Achieving his goal to reach the top of his career has never been so close! 

When he steps out of the car, he suddenly feels more terrible than ever and to his great shock it seems he is having a heart attack. 

Grim is quick to be at the scene and is ready to take Caspian with him, but JJ gets on his knees and pleads with Death to grant him more time with his husband. 

Reluctantly, Grim takes into account the children and the newborn baby and decides this one can be picked up later.
The day ends on this terrifying note. 

 With that, the Winter round ends as well.

The elder death mod has really given me a shock and I was not ready to give up on Caspian after he had only been an elder for two days! It’s scary stuff. 

However, the continuation of the legacy is fun to see and I wonder who Maeve will eventually end up with (if she settles down with anyone at all as a Pleasure sim).
Baby Oliver was another ACR surprise, but it’s always fun to see more kids grow up. Niall will become a teen in the next round, so I’m looking forward to that.
